Artist StatementAs a visual artist I am interested in the interrelationships between the biological, ecological and physical unseen worlds, on micro - macro scales and their mutable qualities. Using a multidisciplinary approach with materials, my work is expressive, abstract and minimalist. With my recent work, I connect with natural environments applying simple line, color , shape and perspective, conceiving small installations -interruptions using the landscape as my canvas. I interpret the energies or 'residues of '- by enhancing the space momentarily, and use photography as documentation as well as reference for future sculptural work. My sculptural work interprets the essences of the microcosms and unseen and our relationships with them. |
